25 Feb IN THE HOUSE: Juliette de Dreu
Meet Juliette de Dreu, a creative force with a soft spot for bold interiors and human stories. From her home base in The Hague, she runs her own interior studio, Studio Julie, where she translates people’s lives and wishes into spaces that feel both deeply personal and effortlessly stylish. In between projects, she loves to wander through thrift stores and interior boutiques, discover new hidden gems in the city over dinner, and unwind with a good comedy show.
Her work is driven by a mix of imagination, honesty and care. Juliette gets most energy from dreaming up interior concepts and designing custom pieces that turn a house into a true home. Nothing beats the moment a client walks into their new space and suddenly feels more at ease, more themselves. That emotional shift is exactly why she does what she does.
Each new assignment, especially in a crowded world full of interior designers, feels like a heartfelt compliment and a confirmation that her approach resonates.
"The thing I love about my work is creating interiors that truly feel like home for my clients, and seeing how that can even make them feel better in their own skin," Juliette shares.
Inspiration, for Juliette, is everywhere: in the unfiltered honesty and fantasy of her young daughter, in museums, in thoughtful interior brands, in films that linger in the back of your mind. Becoming a mother has been a defining moment. It showed her how strong an resilient women are, and sharpened her sense of what truly matters.
Her ambitions are just as layered as her interiors. From exploring new creative skills to designing dream homes and seeing her work featured in the right magazines. For Juliette, more is really more: more depth, more connection, more stories brought to life in the spaces people call home.
"My biggest drive is my daughter and my ambition to be a successful entrepreneur, and every project feels like a step closer to that dream," Juliette de Dreu.
For Juliette, House of Treats feels like a place where new doors open. Through the community, she connected with Ekelhoff Kitchens, where she was responsible for the styling of the Christmas pop-up and hosted one-one-one styling speed dates for visitors.
That collaboration perfectly captured what House of Treats stands for in her eyes: brands and makers who genuinely elevate each other, and an audience that wants to be moved by experience, aesthetics and story. Juliette especially values the sense of equal partnership, give and take, learning from each other, and creating something together that you would never achieve on your own. To her, House of Treats is more than a network; it is a creative home where meaningful collaborations, interior design and community effortlessly come together.
