IN THE HOUSE: Wouter Glaser

Based near Amsterdam, Wouter Glaser knows how to build and scale businesses. He founded Glasnost—a PR and marketing-storytelling agency—in 2012, growing it to 40 people with clients like Unilever, Vodafone, and Google before selling to agency group Ace around 2020. After this he launched Go Delphi, a scale-up studio offering entrepreneurs something unique: a “co-founder as a service” approach to sustainable growth.

According to his friends, Wouter is energetic, driven, and endlessly connecting people with his trademark humor and creativity. But what really marks him is his inspiration towards embracing transparency (hence “Glasnost”) and organizational rhythm.

"I believe that openness and a healthy meeting culture keep organizations agile, human, and highly profitable," Wouter explains.

In a world of corporate jargon, Wouter’s philosophy is refreshingly straightforward: build with transparency, maintain good rhythm, and watch businesses thrive.

Wouter cherishes his free time at home with his family near the Amsterdamse Bos, enjoying walks in nature, traveling, and occasionally visiting music festivals. What he’s most proud of is not a single achievement, but his ongoing personal growth and the place he has reached in his journey—while recognizing that growth never truly ends; it’s a continual cycle woven into life.

This ties in with Wouter’s fascination with the “philosophy of movement,” which he explains as: “always being in motion and getting better every day.” Whenever things, whether related to business or other aspects of life, become stagnant, Wouter feels compelled to move on.

His biggest passion is helping entrepreneurs build businesses driven by strong values and rhythm—not just aiming for incremental improvement, but supporting them in making real, meaningful leaps forward. For Wouter, scaling up is about purpose and progress, not just numbers.

"For me, growth and forward motion are not just goals, they are a way of living."

Wouter is guided by a deep belief that organisational culture is not accidental, but something that can be intentionally designed, shaped, and sustained. His focus lies in creating environments where people are genuinely motivated to contribute and grow over many years. A pivotal moment in his career occurred during an exit that, while celebrated externally as a major achievement, prompted internal reflection. The experience revealed the importance of timing, alignment, and purpose – lessons that continue to shape his approach to leadership and business today.

Looking ahead, Wouter’s ambitions remain broad and impactful: to travel the world for a year, to build and scale another company achieving or exceeding the success of Glasnost, and to dictate significant time and energy to public service.

For Wouter, House of Treats is much more than a membership – it’s about genuine connection and admiration for its founders, whose dedication and authenticity inspire him. He believes good collaboration is built on clear expectations and mutual respect, echoing the values he brings to coaching his own clients. Guided by his motto, shaped by Winston Churchill’s quote, “success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts,” Wouter aims to boost and inspire others towards their own success.

Wouter Glaser – House of Treats member since 2020.
